Ralph K. Zutter founded Competition Insurance Incorporated in 1997.
The company evolved from the Zutter family’s brokerage (Sabina
Insurance Ltd.) and has over 40 years of experience in the general
insurance business. Ralph’s difficulty in obtaining insurance
coverage for his Race Team, Zutter Racing, was instrumental in the
formation of a full service Insurance Brokerage that provides business,
homeowners, automobile, and also specializes in Motorsports insurance.
In January of 2006, we were excited and honored to be chosen as
the Alberta representatives for the Silver Wheel & Custom Wheel
Programs.
Founder Bio
Ralph Zutter has been a licensed Insurance Broker
for over 25 years and obtained his professional accreditation in
1987: Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB). Being a broker
and a driver, Ralph enjoys wearing both a business suit and a racing
suit. The Zutter Racing Team began as Ice Racers in 1990. As the
need for speed increased so to did the Team's involvement in Racing.
Ralph and his Crew (Wife) Shirley campaigned a GT5 Road Race Car
in Western Canada from 1991 to 1995. Finishing second over all once
and first two consecutive years. The Team has since raced their
SCCA / WCMA GT2 Nissan 300ZX and are the 1999, 2001 & 2007 WCMA
GT2 champions.
We are extremely excited about the coming season and look forward
to participating in the 2007 Edmonton Champ Car race event. We would
