| Company History
Ralph K. Zutter founded Competition Insurance Incorporated in 1997. The company evolved from the Zutter family's brokerage (Sabina Insurance Ltd.) and has over 90 years of experience in the general insurance business. Ralph's difficulty in obtaining insurance coverage for his Race Team, Zutter Racing, was instrumental in the formation of a full service Insurance Brokerage that facilitates business, homeowners, automobile, and also provides Specialty Vehicle Insurance Solutions (tm). In January of 2006, we were honoured to be chosen as the Alberta representatives for the Hagerty Silver Wheel Program.

Ralph Zutter
Founder
Ralph Zutter has been a licensed Insurance Broker for over 30 years and obtained his accreditation in 1987: Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB). Being an insurance broker and a race car driver, Ralph enjoys wearing both a business suit and a racing suit. The Zutter Racing Team began as Ice Racers in 1990. As the need for speed increased so too did the Team's involvement in racing. Ralph and his wife Shirley campaigned a GT5 Road Race Car in Western Canada from 1991 to 1995. Finishing second over all once, and first in two consecutive years. Since then the Team has campaigned their SCCA / WCMA GT2 Nissan 300ZX and are the 1999, 2001 & 2007 WCMA GT2 champions.
On three occasions we have participated in the Rexall Edmonton Indy, and have enjoyed one podium finish! We would like to thank our sponsors: Intact Insurance, Edmonton Destination Hotels, Prostar Auto Glass, Bel Engines, and Endura Manufacturing.

Sharon Jones
Sharon joined the Competition team in June 2007 and shares the duties for sales and service, in an alpha-split capacity with her team mate Leslie. She has over 20 years of insurance experience and looks forward to viewing all the “pretty pictures” of the Hagerty Silver Wheel vehicles. Sharon enjoys helping Leslie expand her knowledge of these vehicles.

Stacy VanCingel
Stacy joined Competition Insurance in January 2006 to assist with the launching of the Hagerty Silver Wheel program. She has 21 years Industry related experience, and the majority of those years working with the Hagerty Silver Wheel plan. She now enjoys a part time position here in a Management role of Underwriting and Administration. When she’s not in the office, Stacy is a busy mom with 5 kids!

Lorrie King
Lorrie has been happily managing our Calgary office for 3 years. In between her busy schedule of commitments to the AIC and other insurance organizations, Lorrie has managed to meet most of her clients in person at car shows and car club meets. She would love to share her 26 years of insurance wisdom and expertise with you too!

Deanna Martin
As Lorrie King's shadow since May 2010, Deanna has brought her 12 years of enthusiasm for insurance with her. She also cites having a "gearhead" for a husband as a factor in her choice to work with Competition and the Hagerty Silver Wheels Program.
